On 31 May 2017 at 18:00 Morten Kjaerum (Director, Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law) will speak.

Morten Kjaerum has been Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in Sweden since 2015. Prior to that, he was the fi rst Director of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in Vienna from 2008 to 2015. He was the founding Director of the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR) from 1991 to 2008 and developed it within 17 years from a small organisation to a large internationally recognized institution. From 2002 to 2008, he was a member of the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD).
